The CVA Experience can't be found anywhere else. A balanced schedule of college preparatory academics and world-class athletics allows our students to focus equally on their athletic and academic dreams.
Parents are a key component of the CVA Community. There are multiple opportunities for CVA Parents to be involved:
  • Check student grades, assignments, and schedules online.
  • Participate in Parent Support Organization (PSO) activities.
  • Sign up to receive the Spillway, CVA’s monthly newsletter.
  • Follow CVA Social Media Accounts

  1. Log into the gocva parent portal. Your username is your email address. If you have trouble accessing your gocva parent account, please contact Matt Moriarty at (207) 237-4496.
  2. Select your student's name in the upper left corner of your screen. If you have more than one child enrolled, hover over the Children drop-down menu and select the child whose grades you would like to view.
  3. View unweighted grades by class. At the end of the term, four points will be added to the numeric grades for CVA Honors courses, and five points will be added to the numeric grades for CVA Early College courses.
For more information about our Academic Program, please review the
2023-34 CVA Student & Parent Handbook.

Get Involved with the PSO

The purpose of the Parents' Support Organization (PSO) is to promote understanding, cooperation, and communication among parents, teachers, and coaches; and, to supplement, where needed, the financial and cultural resources of Carrabassett Valley Academy.

All families are members of the Parents' Support Organization. We welcome participation in the PSO activities.

There are multiple opportunities for all parents to become involved in the activities of the PSO:
  • Wreath Sale
  • Scholarship Bash
  • Dessert Nights
  • Halloween Pumpkin Carving & Costume Contest
  • Fall & Spring Student Activity Trips
  • Speaker Presentations
  • Staff Appreciation

Please contact Deb Wetmore if you are interested in learning more.
